I have a Dell Latitude D630 laptop whose battery is dead – When I look at Dell’s replacements they are expensive and customer’s gave them lousy ratings – How about a non OEM battery and from where and how to pick a quality seller and power rating – I fell kind of overwhelmed. Help!

Yes, thats true.. OEM batteries are expensive. There’re a few online stores you can get a non OEM from, but prices will vary. If you want to do some bargain shopping, then you’ll have to compare prices from different online stores. For non OEM batteries for dell and other brand laptops; go to www.lowcost-computerparts-accessories.com to compare prices

I’m looking for a new laptop and would prefer that it operates windows. I have an HP right now and would never buy another one. I’ve heard that Lenovo Laptops are pretty good. Can anyone give me suggestions on this ? Also if you have a Lenovo or use one at work what do you think of it ?

A guy at my work used a Lenovo and it had some hardware hiccups. I would suggest a Dell or a Compaq, I have worked with both alot and have had minimal problems. As long as they are taken care of, they will last you.

On the internet I have come across some bad reviews about MSI lap tops. You can google for MSI Lap Top Review before deciding either way. It is worth spending some money and get a good quality lap top. Sony, Acer, Dell, Asus, HP, Lenovo are all good quality lap tops. You may also consider a net book or Tablet PC also. From www.dinodirect.com you can order a 10.2 inch Fly Touch 3 superpad 2 Tablet PC for around 150 dollars. I use one and is of superb quality. There is also a 7 inch model for 90 dollars.
