Question by AgentAC: Where can I find a external laptop battery charger for Gateway NV5378u?
My laptop was dropped and landed right on the plug-in, breaking the charger outlet. So instead of buying a whole new motherboard or soldering a new plug-in in, I would like to find an external charger just for the the battery since I only use this laptop for an hour or two at most, but I cannot find a charger for this model of computer. Maybe someone knows a reliable location I could find one? Thank you for the help!

i understand what you are trying to do but have never seen such a device. problem is that there are a plethora of different voltages and connectors for laptop batteries and the device would have to fit it exactly.

My Toshiba laptop screen cracked from the inside recently, and it grew bigger until it is about the size of a camera. Now black stuff is coming out of the cracks. How much will this cost to repair, and what needs to be prepared? Any helpful information would be great.

Question by Nicole: Is it okay to leave a laptop cooling pad running all the time?
I just bought it, and my laptop is new, but I only got it to be safe because my other laptop overheated and died. I would like to leave the cooling pad on the whole time the laptop is running which is usually 5 or more hours a day without a break. Would it be okay to leave the cooling pad on?

Yes Nicole why not? The only concern you should have is dust build up other then that it should be fine. It should be fine if kept on all day and all week (Not recommended for the life of your laptop nor your cooling pad) only damage you will be doing is shorting the life of the product. You can always check with your cooling pad manufacture on what is the recommended hours of use but it will be ok. Just keep it clean and nice and it will last long.

dell inspiron 1550. Best performance and support. if you buy it, get it at www.costco.com they provide 3 year warranty. Plus if you do not like it, you can return it in 6 months.
