I'd sell that HP in a heartbeat.... But the iPhone... I wouldn't. You can't fit a laptop in your pocket lol. If you sold the HP and also saved some money, you could get a MacBook from Apple for $ 1199. If budget is tight, you could get an older MacBook for $ 600 at http://wegenermedia.com/

Hope this helps! Good luck if you chose to buy the MacBook! It's one of my favorite laptops!

It depends on what you're working with. If you're just in it for music collection and surfing the internet, with a couple games, keep the HP and the iPhone.

But if you're working on more intensive software such as Photoshop (quite a RAM sucker, mac's have special RAM, which is more optimized) or others like that, then I would definitely consider trading them in. I'm neither a PC fanboy or an Apple lover, I definitely have my share of both of them in my life (macbook pro, iPhone, and a $ 2k Gateway that's been decked out with more microsoft stuff.)

Hey there!

You have two options here: standard capacity and high capacity. I'll show you the brand I can personally recommend from experience, but there are other decent non-Dell OEM brands as well.

Standard capacity - http://www.fastbatts.com/products/pc764
High capacity - http://www.fastbatts.com/products/td175

Definitely consider going the high-capacity route - for your computer, this means 3 more cells giving you at least 1 1/2 - 2 hours more run time. Myself, I pair the high-capacity battery with a modular media bay battery, which gives me nearly 10 hours of run time, even with WIFI on.

The high-capacity battery has a little "palm rest" bar with a soft rubberized coating, that protrudes from the front of the computer. This is where the extra cells are. It looks nice, like it's part of the computer. If you don't like the idea of that, though, go with the standard capacity battery.

Good luck!
