I just bought a Gateway MX6442. It was $ 1200CDN, and has lots of computing power. It runs high end games, and it has a very long lasting battery. The batter can go about 3-3.5 hours on one charge, and it charges at lightning fast speeds.

You are not going to find one.

The problem is that almost every laptop on the market has a different battery configuration. Even batteries on the same brand laptop are different for different models.

Since there is no standardization among batteries nobody is going to take the time to design an external charger that only works for a small range of batteries.

So, you are going to have to pay to have someone repair the jack.

my exprience tell you brand is unvalued to buy a loptop
such as toshiba , sony , dell or hp…
you must focus on device in laptops
every laptop has a cpu that commonly is intel or AMD and graphic cards is intel or GeForce … and other devices too
when you buy a dell or sony , you pay his brand name
there are many new brand that for sales more , sell his product cheaper than other famous brands

No such device even exists, you would either have to replace the motherboard or the plugin for your adapter. Contact Gateway and see if they can service your laptop, provided you are still under warranty.

I believe it download speed would ideally reach 1.7Mbps. The upload rate however is relatively lower with this range. This is much better than a dial up connection which can only support 56 kbps data rate.
